AN OUTING WITH THE BICYCLE TO “ȘAPARTOC”
SUNDAY, 19TH OF MARCH 2017
Meeting place: Octavian Goga square in Sighisoara (Piata Mitica).
Departure of the tour will be at 10:00 AM.
Route: Octavian Goga square Sighisoara / Postei meadow/bicycle road trail/ Vulcan`s cross/peak trail / Belvedere Zone (Daia)/downhill in Sapartoc village (locality with 6 active households, but in the past, a village with 3 churches from different confessions)/ here we will make a halt at “Ionica`s household” for a picnic. The return will follow the peak road, Vulcan`s cross, forest road Caine valley, Sighisoara.
We ask the participants to assure their appropriate equipment, food for the picnic, as well as the personal hydration source.
Necessary equipment: Mountain bike, helmet, hydration source, rain coat, repair kit and a spare inner tube for the bicycle, cheerfulness.
Difficulty: This track is an easy one.
Touristic points of interest: it is a combination between nature and spectacular landscapes as well as visiting a nearly abandoned village (6 families, someday the vegetable garden of Sighisoara)
Distance: approximately 28 km (round trip)
Duration: 4-5 hours
SPRING BIKE & BRUNCH TO TOPA
SUNDAY, 09TH OF APRIL 2017
Meeting place: Octavian Goga square in Sighisoara (Piata Mitica).
Departure of the tour will be at 9:00 AM.
Route: Start in the direction of Viilor district, Fir tree Forest, Garii Hill, Rusu zone, Barlibasoaia, Boiu, Topa. The Cismas family will be our host at the Ecological Farm at Topa. After the break and relaxation we follow the return track/ valley of Tarnava Mare, on the peak road returning to Sighisoara through the Viilor district.
We ask the participants to assure their appropriate equipment, food for the picnic, as well as the personal hydration source.
Necessary equipment: Mountain bike, helmet, hydration source, rain coat, repair kit and a spare inner tube for the bicycle, cheerfulness.
Difficulty: This track is an easy one.
Touristic points of interest: a jointing between nature and spectacular landscapes.
Distance: approximately 30 km (round- trip)
Duration: 4-5 hours

BIKE & BRUNCH TO THE RABARBAR FEAST FROM SASCHIZ
SATURDAY, 6TH OF MAI 2017
Meeting place: Octavian Goga square in Sighisoara (Piata Mitica).
Departure of the tour will be at 9:00 AM.
Route: Valley Cainelui, monastery, forest road, Vulcan`s Cross, Pasture Daii bike trail , ramp (after Hula), agricultural road downhill in Saschiz. Our hosts will be Anca and Charlie at the House on the Hill. We will return by the agricultural road, ramp, bicycle trail, Vulcan`s Cross, forest road, Sighisoara.
Necessary equipment: Mountain bike, helmet, hydration source, rain coat, repair kit and a spare inner tube for the bicycle, cheerfulness.
Difficulty: This is a medium track.
Touristic points of interest: Fortified Church – UNESCO site, peasant citadel, nature and spectacular landscapes.
Distance: approximately 50 km (round- trip).
Duration: 7-8 hours, including the events organized for the “Rabarbar feast”

SUMMER BIKE &BRUNCH TO CRIT
SUNDAY 21ST OF MAY 2017
Departure: will be at 9.00 AM in the locality of Crit, in front of house nr.100, commune of Bunesti, Brasov county.
Route: Crit, bicycle track, Bunesti, road DJ104L, Viscri, visiting the fortified church of Viscri, we continue on the bicycle track, Crucii Hill, at Mesteacan, Higiu Forest, Sonda (probe) road, Crit. The Anghel family will be our host.
Necessary equipment: Mountain bike, helmet, hydration source, rain coat, repair kit and a spare inner tube for the bicycle, cheerfulness.
Difficulty: This is a medium track.
Touristic points of interest: Fortified church of Viscri, nature, wild animals and pastoral occupations.
Distance: approximately 40 km (round-trip)
Duration: 8 hours (including the meal)

BIKE & BRUNCH TO COBOR (BRASOV COUNTY)
SUNDAY, 4th of JUNE 2017
Meeting place: in locality of Cobor, nr. 264, at the Ecologic farm of Cobor, Ticușul Vechi village, Brașov county.
Departure of the tour will be at 9:00 AM from Cobor locality.
Route:we propose two off-road tracks:
– A short track for beginners and families with children
– A classic track, which combines the Olt`s Meadow with the highland zone populated with birds and animals.
We will visit a dam built by beavers, which repopulated the Olt river and we will observe a bird species commonly known as the European Bee-eater – a migratory species of bird, lively colorful, which nestles in the clayed river bank feeding specially on bees and hornets.
This trip ends with the returning to the Ecological farm from Cobor, where local culinary specialties will be served.
We ask the participants to assure their appropriate equipment, food for the picnic, as well as the personal hydration source.

Difficulty: At your choice. It can be an easier or a medium one.
Touristic points of interest: it is a combination between nature and spectacular landscapes as the flora, specific fauna for the meadow of the Olt.

SUMMER BIKE &BRUNCH TO “LA MOVILE”
SUNDAY 2nd of JULY 2017
Meeting place: Octavian Goga square in Sighisoara (Piata Mitica).
Departure: of the tour will be at 9:00 AM.
Route: Octavian Goga square/ Ana Ipatescu street, climbing on Breite, peak road, red stripe marked trail, Fagetul Hill, red cross marked trail Hunters Halt (Popasul Vanatorilor), downhill to the locality Netus, Noistat, Movile. The picnic will be at the glimee. The road back will be through Retis, Bradeni, Apold, Saes, Sighisoara.
Necessary equipment: Mountain bike, helmet, hydration source, rain coat, repair kit and a spare inner tube for the bicycle, cheerfulness.
Difficulty: This tracks difficulty is above medium.
Touristic points of interest: nature, flora, fauna and a unique landscape specific for the southern part of Transilvania.
Distance: approximately 70 km (round- trip)
Duration: 8-9 hours

Those who do not want to do the track on bicycle are welcome at the Brunch at 13.00, the location being in the nature in the zone of glimee, adjacent to the locality Movile, which will be specially marked.
