Sighişoara, with its unique medieval architecture, is considered to be the most beautiful and well preserved inhabited citadel in Europe. The medieval stronghold was built on top of a hill and the Lower Town lies in the valley of  Târnava-Mare river.

This tour includes a guided walk to the different main buildings of the medieval citadel of Sighișoara: to the Clock Tower (the symbol of the town, today hosts the History Museum), Monastery Church, the Romano-Catholic Church, the House with Wood-Shingle, the Vlad Dracul’s House, the Venetian House, the Școlii Street, the Covered Staircase, the nine defending towers and two bastions still standing today, with a visit of the Church on the Hill. You hear fairy tales, stories about the history, social and economic life, Geography of the region.

Duration: One tour of the citadel of Sighișoara takes 2 hours. In the case of willing of a visit to the Lower Old Town of Sighișoara, the term of the tour increase, depending on the option of the tourist.

Departure hour: daily 11:00  and 16:00 available (between April – October)

Meeting point: a front of the Monastery Church (Piaţa Muzeului No. 6)
